Multiple sites, same Aff. link?

How do sponsors react to webmasters using the same affiliate link for all their sites. Are they sound with it?

DutchTeenCash 08-10-2006 08:01 AM

are we talkin ccbill links? cause those are all the same except for the subaccount code and url at the end

I can tell you ALL affiliates are ok with that, cause the stats are nicely split up by site in the admin

I don't think its CCbill links (am new to this), its links direct from the sponsors paid through cheque/epassporte etc.

Yes, its their affiliate code, why would they have anything to say about using it across their many sites?

post a sample code, so we can understand what you mean. Cause youre worried youre not getting credited right?

viva celebs 08-10-2006 08:34 AM

nah its not about geting credited right, i havent started advertising most of them yet (i'm still building the sites).

an example of the links am talkin about... http://www.fleshlightcash.com/track/NTY0ODM6NTox/

I guess am not explaining this very well...

What i mean is when i sign up for an affiliate program they ask me to put in my site URL, example "gfy.com". Some of them even validate me, presumably they are checking the URL to see if they want their product etc sold from my site. Either way why ask for my site URL if it doesnt matter.

So if this is the case would they be pissed and cancel my account if i started using the same code to advertise them in all my sites?

AH

youre talkin bout the reference URL, yes we check that too. For obvious reasons. If youll put gfy.com there, Ill email you asking if you can provide a valid adult url our sites are promoted on. If you do then theres no biggie.

Some ppl though put a ref url there like 123.com or stuff thats not really the place I wanna see our banners at, to say at least.

Most of the times if you login you can change the url, or email the prg sales rep and ask him/her to do that for you.

As for your last q: I wouldnt cancel and use the code, you might not get credited.

Most ask for a URL to see if you are legit or just a surfer trying to get access to content or unlimited free porn. It does not matter (well, within reason) where you put their links after that.
