Becky DeForest took the reigns of Innovative Ideas with the main focus of ramping up ARS. She will instill a sense of vision and leadership back into the company through new goals of extending the offerings of content, services, payouts and more.

?The demand for the change in ownership and leadership was largely due to the termination of the contract between ARS and the company that provided the paysite portfolio. We simply could not rely on another company to provide quality websites for ARS webmasters to promote.? Says Becky DeForest. ?ars had to terminate the contract with paysite provider in February, 2004. It hurt webmasters, it hurt ARS, But with the threat of losing credit card processing because of high charge-backs and poor member values, the relationship [with the old paysite provider] couldn?t continue. The creation of Storm Media was the logical solution to this problem. So I stepped down from ARS back in 2004 to build Storm Media. Now I?m returning to ARS as owner and bringing with me the elements ARS needs.?
