Socializing with people from a specific marketplace makes a name for yourself in that marketplace. When you go to actually do some real business people will know who you are and open more doors for you. Thus comming for fun will actually make you more business than comming here for business.
comming to gfy to do business directly shows what you think of the people you do business with - NOTHING. FACT. and when you show them that - eventually your business relationships will figgure it out and go down. then you start blaiming things like the people who come to GFY for reasons other than business for your business failing.
