"Your icq is being used on another computer"
 

WTF... this is happening to my newer number all day today. And probably 3 times over the past couple weeks. What is going on? Anyone else having this?

Only when another computer is indeed using my number

that means someone else has access to your ICQ account. I only get that message when I bounce from one computer to another

I suggest you change your password before they do

I've never logged in with this number on any other computer.. I don't get it. What benefit would anyone have for doing that? It's stupid.

That explains the "hey baby I need you" message I just got.

It happened to me several times 2 weeks ago. I kept changing my PW. My machines are clean. I am not sure what caused it.

I would change your password - it sounds like someone is using it.

Well I changed my password which was a total pain in the butt. But I'm still logged in with my old. I'm afraid to go in and change it cuz half the time icq had dead links and crap. You'd think they'd get their act together a bit.

my icq got hacked a month ago
but i got it back and the one who hacked it had to deal with some "troubles"

How do you know? How can you tell?

first i got told "your icq is being used on another computer" 4 times on a day

then i leave the house and come back finding out that my password isnt working anymore....


i made a research and found someone who fixed it for me...

It happened once to me. I rebooted.

It happens to me also,and am sure ICQ is not used on other comp,at least by me:(

OK now I'm pissed. I changed the password. And everytime I try to login now with my new one that I got in my email, it says it's invalid. WTFFFFF!!

I rebooted... I tried the old one, the new one.. nothing works and I can't login at all. This sucks! :mad:

Could be the hax0r was reading this thread and changed the passwrod before you..

Shit - they got in before you - your ICQ has been jacked.

You can argue the toss with the ICQ.com people but I wouldnt hold out much hope. Bad news, sorry.

Yes damian that's me. Got it back!! Changed it again and this time it worked.

I would have got a new one but I have about 500 names on this number and they're mostly 6 months old or newer so I really need my list.
