Software that copies images/text on a page to hard drive
 

i saw a post about three months ago about software that can download images and text from a HTML page and create a HTML page as well as copy the images to your hard drive. i can't find that post but does anyone have the link to software that can do this? or maybe link me to that post? It would help me alot when working with sponsor galleries...

Uhm Firefox. You just use the menu and go to: File > Save Page As... :2 cents:

pressing ctrl+alt+delete 2 times quickly downloads any page in 2 seconds.

these don't download the larger images though..i need everything to be downloaded to the hard drive, so it has to follow the links and download the images etc...

this firefox plugin does the job DownThemAll!

google "wget"
without the quotes.
wget will do it.
also when you change webservers that is what is used to move your stuff over.
except scripts, which have to be installed.
