when visa makes you send a confirm email to everyone with a working cancel now link..

with every attempt of rebilling.

then what happens?

think this isnt going to happen in the long run?

What happens?

Retention will go down....but new sales will go up IMHO. So it's a wash overall but per signup value will drop.

i already have a backup plan ready.. when the user sign's up you give them a complimentry "email account" accesible with a different password in the support area ( hidden away the same place the "cancel my subscription " is now )

sort of like how epassporte has its own email system so when a surfer signs up for bangbros.com he will get a free [email protected] account , then the company can control how the user see's the confirm rebill/cancel rebill

p.s. i want royalties if anyone uses my idea :)

depends on the site when the ibill shit was crashing, I canceled 330 members. Within two months it was back to that number. I planned on losing half of the people who forgot they had a membership. It wasnt the case.

Wouldnt it be a bandwidth nightmare after a while also what is the liability if they start using your email addys for spamming?
