There is no money in porn. But if you even try a feeble attempt at it, the only place you can MAYBE make money is at the sig below.

WiredGuy 08-22-2006 10:07 PM

There will always be money in this business, its the margins that are getting thinner and thinner. But mainstream is flourishing with incredible deals, I'm investing all resources into mainstream now.

As long as there is a medium that gives a male erotic visual stimulation, there will be a market :)

TOURKNOOK 08-23-2006 12:34 AM

i think porn is forever, until there's a young generation curios how sex works, porn will be there. its only the medium are changing, like when in our grandpa's time there's there are those magazine, in our father's time there the betamax and vhs, in our time here comes the vcd and dvd, and now here is the internet:) :) :) :upsidedow :upsidedow

prairie 08-23-2006 01:06 AM

As long as beautiful people are having sex and there are ugly people that want to have sex porn will thrive.

Its just more people who share the pie. Even though the pie is getting bigger every year. Promoting sites with only a few competitors still brings some nice margins.

AsianDivaGirlsWebDude 08-23-2006 01:21 AM

There is definitely money to be made in the adult online biz by creative people with a good plan, whom have both the energy and desire to bring their vision to fruition.

Like most businesses, in fact probably more than most businesses, you cannot afford to be static or grow complacent. You must be constantly aware of the trends and changes taking place in the industry, and then adapt your plans to the current market, or even better, lead the way as it evolves.

Sex is an important part in the lives of most people - as long as this remains so, it's just a matter of providing a product that people desire and are willing to pay for.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 08-23-2006 01:22 AM

The more free content that is out there, the less willing consumers will be pay for it.

THat about sum's it up.

Paul Markham 08-23-2006 01:28 AM

Porn has been around since cave men painted on cave walls.

It will be around for a lot longer.

The Internet is purely a different delivery method. Which has changed slightly the product, like photographs, then film, then video and now DVD. It has not changed the fact that guys will pay good money to jerk off to porn.

With this thinking you will succeed, worrying more about those who do not pay is self defeating.

Will there be money in Internet porn next year and the year after. You bet there will.

Will those making money today make money in the future, some will and some will not. The business is growing and maturing, some who could make money yesterday will not survive to make it tomorrow.

Same as any other business.

Wiggles 08-23-2006 03:08 AM

until the internet dies.

The amount of free content is growing rapidly, yet the money people spend on adult every year is growing fast, too. Got an explanation for it?

JimmiDean 08-23-2006 03:39 AM

Three years.
Then Al Gore will close the internet.

en21 08-23-2006 05:02 AM

I think it will be forever.. it will start to evolve since we have more traffics from India and China

Bozena X 08-23-2006 05:08 AM
