New PimpRoll stats in the works, what do you want to see?

Our team is busy coding our new stats but I wanted to get a list of features from the GFY crowd.

What would you like to see?

We actually have a team of programmers at PimpRoll (no limited 3rd party stats crap), so post your ideas and we can make it happen!

:thumbsup

I know they're already good, but there has to be some creative ideas out there, lets hear them :)

fris 08-28-2006 11:55 AM

i liked when nathan coded for you guys :p

tranza 08-28-2006 12:00 PM

No idea what you guys have, but I hate sponsors that don't show where the sales are coming from.

Tom_PM 08-28-2006 12:02 PM

We have referring stats for clicks and sales. Alternatively, a campaign code you can choose and insert in your links for more customizable tracking. :thumbsup

Trax 08-28-2006 12:04 PM

how about a list of things you already have? :)

Tom_PM 08-28-2006 12:21 PM

We have:
First page raw clicks, first page unique clicks, join clicks, sales, revenue.
Referring url or custom campaign code for raw, unique, join hits or sales.
Date, console option, pricepoint and payment method for each sale.
Partnership stats show initial joins, conversion to full, rebills, revenue.
Webmaster referral stats show clicks and sales from referred ID's, plus you have a list of all ID's you've referred.

You can sort the stats by Aphabetical, volume of Unique or Join hits, Sales, Revenue or Niche.
You can sort your top referring urls by Raw, Unique, Join hits, or Sales.

Those are the basics. There are additional stats for custom tour builders (AVP, BYOT).

Oke,

I would like to see which FHG is requested how many times ( so how many unique visitors did a request for a certain gallery).

I would like to know how productive the visitors were on that gallery. How many times and where did they click.

Then you can see the CTR of different FHG and compare them.

This all sorted out per country, dates and set per timeframe.

That would make me very happy.

You MUST HAVE referer stats that show sales. I've been removing the pimproll campaign codes from all my links because if you use them, you can no longer see the referers for any sales...

Stats pretty much equivalent to NATs would be fine with me. Raws, uniques, join page hits, sales.

Don't try and do anything fancy, keep it fast, clear and concise, easy to navigate. I should be able to just glance at the stats table(s) and see how my traffic is doing for each site/day.

And for the view where you see the sites and how many hits/sales etc. they get.... don't bother showing the sites that haven't received any hits. I hate having programs where I only pomote maybe 3 of their 60 sites and they display all 60 sites.

An option to view the hits/uniques, sales etc. for each "domain" that's sending traffic would be damn nice. Then have it so you can click on the domain and see all the page referers for that "site".

Another nice feature would be to have all the known bots, crawlers and the like kept as seperate stats and not lumped into the "real" hits.

Right on. We've talked about this one, and should be simple to setup as well. Thanks for the input, good to know that people will be using this functionality.

I like that last idea, good use of the data that we'll already be collecting. The rest of the stuff is cool too, ha. Just never thought of displaying things like that. Good stuff.

You don't have refering stats for AVP sales. Referring urls and campaign codes don't mean jack if you can't what sales they came from. Also having AVP and the other stats seperate is pain in the ass. I'd like to click once to see all of my sales.

Also campaign codes don't show you which site that sale came from just the code so that means having some rediculously long campaign code that would include the sites name so as to not get it confused with other codes.

Also timestamp of sales would be nice. All my traffic is US so it would be nice to compare ratios for different times of day.

u know what I wanna see lol

bdld 08-28-2006 02:22 PM

campaign codes that work better. to accurately track sales now, i have to create a unique tracking code for every single site. I want to be able to view sales per site per campaign like in nats.

bdld 08-28-2006 02:25 PM

also a quicker way to get linking codes. i dont want to have to click 'next' three times to get the codes. just put the drop down boxes on one page and one 'next' button.

That's one of the things that will definitely be covered.
