squishypimp 08-31-2006 05:16 PM

BradM 08-31-2006 05:18 PM

My friends are usually broke. That's what happens at our age. Most of my friends are still starving college kids. But in 3 years they will be operating on my liver, or sueing my wife for me so it all comes back. :)

My friends are hella broke. Their almost in their 30's and one can't go out to eat with me in a restaurant where an entree is like $10 because their "Broke".

I can't imagine being that old and still broke.
I'm tired of broke people. Always borrowing money and never returning it.

Doesn't want to go to the mall with me because their "broke" and get depressed looking at stuff they can't buy. It's pathetic. This person is 30 and makes like $13 an hr but works part time because she is still attending college.

So their ALWAYS broke. I'm tired of it!

cutievids 08-31-2006 11:45 PM

I'd hafta say most of my friends are heading that way. Shit ass part time jobs, still living at home, no responsibilities and despite all their laziness, find time to bitch about how hard life is.

PimpDaddyPants 08-31-2006 11:49 PM

all my friends are broke brokes and everytime we hangout i feel fine when buying large ticket items around them. they can think all they want, but if they earned it like me they'd be in the same shoes....

V_RocKs 09-01-2006 12:33 AM

My friends are all shapes and sizes when it comes to bank accounts.

But, by far, I am the most well off.

Just about everyone I knew in high school makes money by working for the man and they are basically broke. A few of them are into real estate so they are sitting pretty right now. Those are the guys I go to casinos with and do shit like that.

The other peeps I hang with once in a while at a bar/pub or maybe go to the river with once a year when they can afford it.

Most of the guys with no money are either married and have a bitch for a wife or they are single and have no motivation to make money. I have offered some a job or a foot into this business. Some have taken up the offer but so far none have ever amounted to anything at all. Most give up once they realize I actually WORK FOR A LIVING...

Sure I make more than most doctors who perform specialized medicine, but I do work for that money! The poor friends never understand that.

cutievids 09-01-2006 12:38 AM

V, I just signed up for Teen Revenue under you!

most people around me are the same way, they think because i sit at home infront of my computer im not actually working... then when they ask me how to make money in adult, i tell them and they then find out, "hey, you gotta actually do work, you don't get paid to look at hot chicks"

Zarathustra 09-01-2006 01:48 AM

soon you'll just have to call them your "entourage" instead if you're gonna pay for everything :1orglaugh

stop being a cheap bastard- nothing wrong with treating your buddies to a meal if you got the cash.

story of my life bro :)

Sami 09-01-2006 02:14 AM

You should pat yourself on the back for being young and successful.

The fact is majority of the people your age are really just starting out in the world of making money. :)

Just head them the right direction and help them out here and there , with your good friends.

Thats my advice.

flashfire 09-01-2006 02:15 AM

pffft...if they cant pay they can wait in the car

DaddyHalbucks 09-01-2006 06:53 AM

Recruit them for pimping.

HorseShit 09-01-2006 07:00 AM

my friends aren't broke

DWB 09-01-2006 07:22 AM

A lot of my friends are broke as well. But to be honest, I don't mind paying for them at all as long as it does not become an expected thing.

If I have money, and they do not, they are my friends. I would hope they would help me out in the event the tables were turned.

msan 09-01-2006 07:31 AM

Yeah it happens, having broke friends too. i'm broke too :((

Been there done that.

The phrase I hated hearing most was, "Well you can afford it". This is shit I would hear when they did not pay back the money borrowed, and you ask them for it, or when you will get it back.

I also remember when they would pretty much never grab for the check. Ask for money to get into places, and shit like an allowance. Needless to say, that gets old quick. So they all had to go.

I do not mind taking turns picking up the tab on their nonpay weeks, or every once in awhile. As they return it back so we trade those things back and forth. But I do not like when money becomes a driving force in a relationship. Friends, or lovers.

:disgust

Sosa 09-01-2006 11:59 AM

lolthat used to be the way with me. Now they moved away so I don't worry about it
