I haven't seen anything they have done yet, so will this help them produce some results that can benefit the idea behind it all?

just joking around about my other post, but in all seriousness, the hope is that they're doing what is good for the industry as a whole, so it should in the end benefit us all in the fight against too strict 2257 requirements. :)
