Ernesto Damage: My House, Florida Keys (PIC)
http://www.akarin.com/images/misc/Ernesto.jpg
What a crock of shit. I?ve lived in Florida over 20 years. Anyone in Florida remember when this much shit was caused by a tropical storm? My bet is on NEVER. I remember the days when we still had school during CAT 1 hurricanes. The hype around this storm was just media sensationalism. I mean come on? we were in a bar screwing with the Weather Channel news team while they stood outside in rain gear and a parking lot puddle trying to say we were flooded. Also the government and businesses used it as a big excuse to take a couple days off or to make triple-time wages manning hurricane readiness facilities. What a big screw to all the tax payers in Florida. |
oh n0ez it's flooding!*@741978@$!
|
So you don't need my canoe then?
|
Omg A Broken Branch!!!!
Call The Army |
lmao, the clean up crew is going to hate you
|

i have some family down there they said the same was nothing really to worry about they didnt' evacuate or anything like that
|
You must not be watching the news right now. People are dying further up the coast.

Well, at least your clean up will be a breeze!
|
It will take at least 3 clean up crews of 5 people each to figure out how to remove that
|
You should call waste management to come pick up that debri of your yard hehe.
|
We never closed the office. Hell we worked through Katrina.
I think most people freaked cause they its the first storm of the season and they wanted a day off anyway. |
hahahaha great thread
i keep telling everyone, floridians worry less about hurricanes then people think to most of us, expecially the northern parts, or the ones that dont live on the coast its a minor inconvinience. |

I loved that video last year of the reporter in a canoe looking all haggard then 2 guys come walking into the shot and the water was about ankle deep, lmao.
Try to hang in there and stay safe!!!!!!!!11 :1orglaugh |
In fairness though, it was barely a tropical storm right? How can they tell people it wont be a killer after last season? They'll be telling you that for years now no matter what.
|
Looks like you'll survive :thumbsup

That branch looked like it died from old age....lol
Well atleast you were safe this time. |

But sadly, I would suspect it possible that the response to your broken branch might be quicker than it was to New Orleans during Katrina. Our countries emergency management decisions leave MUCH to be desired. :Oh crap |
Why do you people build paper houses anyway down there?
|
LMAO!! That is some funny shit! Guess you have to be in FL to truly appreciate it! ;) Glad you're ok though.
