Anybody looking for a skillful PHP Programmer?

OK guys,

That's the short version - I've been coding PHP and MySQL for 4 years now, web including HTML, CSS and JS for about 7. My background includes working for the guys at Mansion Productions on their MPA3 and my last project was Jays Trades - all from A to Z, including layout (jaystrades dot com - sorry, I can't post URLs).

I'm kinda hard to work on long term projects, but I know my shit quite well and if you're looking for a hardcore programmer to help you boost your biz, maybe I'm your man. I have been working on partialy own PHP framework over the last year and a half, so building another CMS or anything similar won't be a biggie. Need anything else? At least let me know about it.

Thanks for spending time reading this and I hope to hear from you.

My name is Andrew aka ClickBuster and you can reach me at andrew [at] pomosht [dot] com. My ICQ is 263653704.

Just FYI, I've built stat systems, affiliate systems (yeah, more than one), I'm experienced with processor cascading and the integration of most popular CC processors including CCBill, Netbilling, Paycom, etc.

I know what RSS and XML is :) I've worked on some SOAP stuff and I have experience with most of the tricks to manipulate video and images on the server side.

PHP isn't programming it's scripting!!! :1orglaugh

Just kidding, here's a bump for you :thumbsup

what do u mean? you mean u want long term projects or you don't?

ClickBuster 09-04-2006 11:34 AM

Hehe, true what you said about PHP there, but you can be better at it and make more of it if you have the experience. To be honest, making web is so much funnier than general programming, that I don't care how you call it :)

About long term projects - I warmly invite you to tell me about it. All I wanted is to be honest :) People that have worked with me know what I mean. Some have even called me excentric! Thumbs up for that for the guys from YanksCash - Todd and his crew - Steve aka Gateway and Billie.

Mutt 09-04-2006 11:37 AM

um - i can see what they mean about 'eccentric' already. you didn't answer the question - when you say 'I'm kinda hard to work on long term projects' - what does that mean? it can be taken either way.

ClickBuster 09-04-2006 11:57 AM

2 reasons I'm hard to work with on long term projects - I became an asshole when people threat me like they own me. I usually delay long term projects and can blame only myself for that. However I always give a 110% and guarantee that my stuff is better than the average PHP coder. Why? Because I don't care much about anything else, but giving the best I can :)

Klen 09-04-2006 11:58 AM

Bump for fellow officer.

You forgot the word "with" in your original post making the sentence difficult to understand :winkwink:

borked 09-04-2006 12:11 PM

I have a PhD and do this stuff for a living, yet still haven't had a single job from this lot.
Good luck :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

ClickBuster 09-04-2006 12:12 PM

I'm sorry if it's hard for you to understand me. I usally type quickly and see the errors after that, when it's too late to edit :) Still, my engish is not perfect as you can imagine. Thanks for the tips tho :)

The "average PHP coder" is usually a below average programmer.

But nevertheless, good luck. If you're solid programmer, I don't think you'll have any trouble getting some work. :thumbsup

Finally. Someone speaks the truth!!!

Ruby on Rails is the most amazing shit I've seen. :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

PHP will never be able to touch it.

dig420 09-04-2006 12:41 PM

if you really know your shit and you're willing to work under my staff programmer hit me up. I have a lot of projects going and we could use an extra pair of hands (or two). Do NOT contact me if you have a problem getting things done ie 8 hr job takes two weeks. I need someone who can get the job, finish the job and move on to the next one as a matter of course. No drama, no bullshit.

icq is in my sig.

Yep. I've heard the same, and been researching it. I have more projects I am looking at once I plan things out a bit more, and find some new programmers.

But Ruby is impressive thus far.

ClickBuster 09-04-2006 01:16 PM

Ruby surely kicks ass! I advice everybody looking into it! However, if you need a dude for PHP, you can always count on ME :)

ClickBuster 09-05-2006 07:01 AM

bump bump bump :)

RoR kicks ass, but I still get "Sorry we don't support RoR yet" most of the times I asked a big host if they could install it...

Still, I have a lot of fun with it locally! It's nice enough that I code shit with it that will probably never be used, just to have fun with it, and get the hang of it...

But for people stuck with php, there are still REALLY decent php MVC frameworks that features scaffolding, admin generators etc..... Symfony or cake just to mention a few...

I hired this guy for something that a few coders have thought to be too hard or time consuming to do. To add some features to a code done by another coder. Clickbuster acted as if it was no big deal at all, and I wasn't quite sure I'd trust the guy. Anyhow, I told him what I wanted to be done. I was sure that after I prepaid him he'd disappear never to be heard again.

Boy, was I wrong. 3 days later the code I asked for was done as well as a few more extra things I thought up as we went along, and he suggested and implemented some improvements to the code too, free of charge.
I was truly in awe, usually coders skip town, change nicks and whatnot...but this guy just did what I hired him to do, was available on ICQ almost all day long and happily answered my questions as well as kept me up to date on what he was doing. Coders, you should all work like he does.

If any of you GFY freaks are looking for a coder, do contact this guy. He's top notch. I wouldn't even recommend him if I had any more stuff to be done, I'd keep him all to myself.. But alas, I have no further coding needs.. so he's all yours, take advantage of the situation before someone snags him up for a fulltime job. :)

:thumbsup :thumbsup

Sorry, I just HAD to bump this for the north-american crew. I hope clickbuster doesn't mind. He didn't ask me to bump this thread, I just truly & honestly think he's kick-ass. I don't even know how booked he is, but if you're looking for a php guru, try him.

SNP 12-03-2007 06:10 PM

I don't know about all the people who seem to think this guy is awesome, but CLICKBUSTER is a nightmare. Yes, he might be a very skilled programmer, but he is the most unreliable person I have ever had do something for me. He started 2 projects for me, 2 separate times, he has still yet to finish either. He leaves or signs off for weeks at a time, comes back with excuses on top of more excuses. If you are looking for a project to be done within the specified time you want or you are looking for a reliable programmer, look elsewhere.

I don't know how these people in this thread can say he is good. He's a scammer, stay away from him. I stole $1500 from me and I have yet to have a working website.

I gave you another chance dude, and you blew it.
