I wan to know who thinks on GFY is the better guitar player... will it be Yngwie?

I see how they get very interesting topics going to start here so to make a question easier... who is it that is the best guitar player... Yngwie Malmsteen or Eddie Van Halen. Please you will consider it all the other factions involved in the decision and tell it here.

Eddie... he has written countless more quality tunes than Yngwie. While I admit, Yngwie is a better technical showman, fact is... Eddie is the creative one.

That makes him better as far as I'm concerned. I LOVE shred when shred is needed.

That said ... Yngwie Johann Malmsteen: Concerto for Guitar, is a pretty amazing thing to hear.

Dont get any better than Zakk Wylde for an overall player on technicallity and heart and soul.

I wanna know who's the better composer, Bach or Beethoven?

man Beethoven could really ROCK but Bach was so much more technical!

lol....

this idea is something you're supposed to get over in high school. There is no 'better'. It just comes down to what you like. Gilmour isn't 'better' than Terry Kath. He's just different.

Eddie Van Halen. His influence can npt be overstated. I remember when the first Van Halen album came out people could not believe "Eruption" was a guitar and not a synth. The first time I saw VH in '78 when Eddie played that live the arena was in a complete pandemonium of ecstatic worship.

Yngwie is a wanker.

Yes thank you to my new friend the Scorpio. I will go and agree to you that Eddie Van Halen is the most rock. I also went in that concert in 1978 but for then I was just to young but my brother he was very big time for Van Halen and also showed me about Yngwie. He is great at shredding to.
