He doesn't look too bad for being 100.. I wonder if he is still doing mechanic duties or if they tell him to wax the car lol or give him bum parts to play with.
Being 100, shit. He's been around since 1906.. he's seen two world wars, ten decades with changing styles and music, the birth of nearly every invention known to man. Computers from house size to small enough to be implanted in your skin. He's seen food with paint in it go to FDA approved health food. The rise and fall of so many men it would take him another 100 years just to name them all.. This guy knows more then any of us. Respect.. |
work keeps u young

Arthur Winston, 100; missed 1 day in 70 years at same job.. He missed that day to attend his wife's funeral.. Retired on his 100th birthday.. Article |
I think that could be a new niche :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

To see all the things this guy has seen must surely be amazing indeed. The advent of true medical treatments that didn?t involve complete removal of limbs, vastly improved transportation methods? even the invention of adhesive tape! At the same time he?s seen global wars and genocide. This guy has seen the best AND the worst that humanity has to offer, and I for one would actually break my creed (though this is the one and only time mind you) and read this guys book if he were to ever write one. I only hope that I get to see 1/10 of what this guy has seen in my lifetime.
From the little time I?ve spent on the face of this rock I?m amazed by humanity?s resourcefulness and our ingenuity. Unfortunately at the same time I have seen humanity?s glutinous nature explode (as evident by the obesity epidemic), and I have seen humans apparently fall into a state of permanent empathetic shock (that is, a lack of empathy towards, among other things, human beings themselves) thanks mainly in part due to our overzealous media networks who thrive on sensationalizing tragedy, rather than focusing on the good things that happen every day. |
That guy is the man.
It's true for alot of old timers, they love to keep active. |
If he stops working he will probably die right away. But Mechanic is physically though. All the power to him :thumbsup
