Well they aren't blocked if that's what you're saying. The whole gallery is hosted on their server so what do they care if you burn b/w on half the pics instead of everything?

Yes, where we can either have galleries all on the same template and / or for blog posts.

sponsors will always have insane hotlink protection on their hosted galleries

there are reasons for it, and to be honest, I am too tired and really don't care enough to go into those reasons if you already don't know

I know some that do and some that don't. Also know many that have their stuff hotlinked into blogs etc. currenty but figured I'd ask before starting a huge project to send them traffic only to have them enable the hotlink protection after the work was done. :upsidedow

just host the images yourself, it ain't like bandwidth is expensive

Can't explain the project but ya it would be expensive.

Pretty much any sponsor I've seen doesn't allow hotlinking like that.


There are TONS of sponsors that have free hosted galleries, so maybe you could just use those instead? I know it's not what you're asking, but maybe there is another way to acomplish what you're looking for.

There are also many sponsors now that offer free hosting of your custom galleries - so there may be a good option there that you won't need to pay the bandwidth bill on.
