Rome is one of the best shows I've ever seen. Another HBO masterpiece, probably the best yet. Very accurate, with excellent acting and a tight plot. 2 thumbs up :thumbsup :thumbsup

I caught all of season 1.. loved it.. has season 2 started?

It was a co production with the BBC. Much like Band of Brothers...that team up appears to work together well

I saw it on HBO here in Hungary. I enjoyed it, but like "24" found it to go on a bit unnecessarily. It could have ended 4 episodes earlier.

Still, I would reccomend it to anyone.

One big mistake in that serie. For example they filmed the aquaducts and you see them in a shabby state. In those days those aquaducts were new :)

Yes, excellent movie, I loved it and watched the replays ... good plot, acting, costumes, background ... excellent! I can't wait for season 2!

I saw ads for it on the subway the other day. Now I am going to run out to walmart and pick it up.

Rome's great historical figures there. Julius Ceasar: The first Roman dictator, Augustus: The first Roman Emperor, Spartacus: The man who led the biggest civil war in the history of Roman Empire. I just can't afford to miss any of these.

Killer show, Sucks that next season will be it's last. With them losing deadwood and rome ya gotta wonder what HBO is thinking.
