Do you have anyone addicted to drugs in your family??
 

I have a close friend who's like a brotha who fucked up from drugs.
he was a big dealer then started using. all went down hill from there.

Just me. Only nicotin and caffeine though. I do other stuff on special occasions.

No, but 3 out of 5 adults in my family are alcoholics. (my entire family is 6 people, including aunts and uncles).

my uncle was a junkie and alcoholic. note "was", he got clean at 50 yrs old after 20 + yrs of using. i'm really proud of him. he's got a new lease on life. :thumbsup

People around, and close to me. No family though.

define addicted. I know plenty of people in my family that use but they keep there shit and families together. If you keep it together does that count as addicted?

my dad's been a heroin addict since he was 14.

Every family has an addict, or knows one.

I have a brother that had some problems with drugs. He cleaned up his act, became a Paramedic and one of the top rated EMT instructors in his state. I am so proud of him :)

2 years before my grandma died, she got arrested for growing pot in her closet...

My second-youngest sister is a pregnant crackhead and meth addict. Her teeth are loose and everything, and she's only 21. Soon I will be the aunt to a little crack baby. I am less than thrilled about this, as is everyone else in my family. Poor little baby. My sister lives in a car with her boyfriend (who is twice her age) and their pit bull, and they are both in and out of jail all the time. I sit around thinking of what might happen: pit bull will eat baby's face off while my sister is getting high, baby will be taken away and given back on a regular basis for its whole childhood, baby will be dumped on stepmom and then used as a pawn for drug money for its whole life...man, there is just no possible good outcome. I worry about the baby's health and safety, but my sister has shit for brains and there's really not a lot any of us can do until she signs the rights away or some government agency intervenes. Whenever an episode of Cops is in Vegas, we always watch closely to see if maybe we can catch a glimpse of her. I so wish I was kidding about that.

shouldnt be too hard to get custody from her if she lives in a car and uses meth and crack. i'd hire a lawyer and see what you can do.

My whole family has had problems with addictions of one sort or another. Not necessarily drugs, but maybe nicotine, alcohol, food, sex, gambling.

We are an addictive type!

My first cousin. He's been in rehab for almost 5 months now.
