The time, the place, the proximity to the other shows and the format for starters.

More info coming soon...
In the meantime, www.internext-expo.com

I've been there, that's what got me asking.

Ante up.

I like the fact that it is on the backend of AVN and CES. Definetly a step in the right direction :)

I haven't gone the last two years because of that. Now that it isn't, I'm going to get a booth.

Would be nice if the price of registration was actually on the page prior to having to enter all your info to find out what the cost it. :winkwink:

Well then.

AdPatron 09-05-2006 11:45 AM

I guess they really do want to get people involved -lol.

V.ZON 09-05-2006 11:56 AM

to AVN/Internext people :

a small recommendation/feedback - it would be really cool to improve this pint :

Do a favor to attendees with all inclusive package (workshop etc...) - it would be cool this year to give them invitation for all the major parties.

This people spend time in the workshop during the day, dont have always time to search invitations ;-) ... and its just few days expo...

so if they want to meet lot of people in the business, its in the main area, but its also at the parties, and without invitation its not always easy to enter at some ;-)

The problem with that is that a lot of the private parties' locations don't hold as many people as there are convention attendees. Also, the parties are not usually sponsored by AVN but by other companies who are thanking their affiliates, or whoever they're doing business with and they surely can't be expected to foot the bill for every single attendee.

There are usually so many different events each night though, that you'll always find parties to attend. It may not be the BIGGEST party, but rarely will you go without something to do.

Watch when the parties are announced and you'll find other ways to get entrance as well, like giveaways, OR talk to someone you know from in or around a particular company. This industry isn't so big that you probably don't know someone able to get you into 2/3rd's of the biggest Internext parties. Unless you're totally new, than yes, it would be much tougher to get into some of the big ones.

My suggestion to AVN? Put the registration as far from the floor as possible down the hallway, and make sure people have all the reason in the world to get a badge to be part of the show, rather than standing around in the hallway sponging off of the show without attending. Find some manner to make having a show pass not only a nice idea, but a requirement to getting anything done.

38 booths only on the floor... this should be interestind!

I would think they would put that information on the registration page.. :winkwink: I knew what it was from previous shows, but the Miami internext was the same way.
