9/11, where were you when the planes hit?
 

I was working on some of my servers at the our Datacenter in NJ when i got the call that a plane had crashed into the WTC, we all went up to the roof to look and we watched the 2nd plane hit. It was the errriest thing i ever saw and 5 year later i still cant get it out of my head.

People seem to forget stuff very quickly in this country, but this is something that must never be forgotten.

Waiting for my mom to call me to wish me a happy birthday (yes, 9/11 is my birthday) - it was the first time she never called and when I called her to find out if she had disowned me, she was blurting out 'america is being attacked and your cousin is in one of the buildings'.

Won't be forgetting that too soon.

Heard it in my car on the radio. Bubba the love sponge in fact was describing it live on cnn. When the 2nd plane hit I started to panic thinking of all scenerios that could happen.

at school

i was sitting in front of my laptop watching CNN morning news when the first plane hit...Cnn was coveing it within like 2 minutes of it happening....i watched the 2nd plane hit...and both towers drop live ...Couldnt belive i just winessed that many people die live on tv while sittting in the safe comforts fo my home.

I was in front of the computer with the tv right beside me and saw it happen. Let's not forget the victims of 9/11 my heart goes out to them.

I was in bed sleeping until I got a call to turn on the television.

I was working. It was a very strange day to say the least.

I was watching CNN at the time and for the next 48 - 72 hours I didn't leave home.

I watched in a state of shock and disbelief for the next 3 days.

I remember it like it was yesterday. :(

I was jumping in my car to go to work, and heard the newscast. Thought it was a fictional thing like war of the worlds, and changed the channel to get some music. Once I got to work I saw everyone watching the TV and saw that it was sadly real.
