HOW IT WORKS? referring url
Tell me this if you have
SITE A page 1 user clicks from page 1 to page 2 user arrives at page 2 user clicks link to SITE B On site b, will it show the reffering url from page 2, or page 1? |
Or no matter what itll be page2

It'll always show the last ref.
Now, if you're doing something zany with frames that load offsite shit, you're going to have the click from the active frame source. You can always fake it with stuffing the ref in a GET request or something, then pass that on so it knows where the initial click came from. I've seen JavaScript that does similar things, but short of spoofing the referrer on the client side, you're always going to get where they came from on the last active page. |
