Have any countries offered to help the US with the forest fires?
 

Just wondering if any other countries have offered assistance to the US with the Fire in Colorado and Arizona. I care because I'm sure if it was happening to another country we would send help to them.

I havent followed the story. What do you guys need? Water?

Next time a dog farts in France though, we'll be sending billions of dollars in cash and equipment, as well as loads of personnel to assist the French in finding out why their dogs fart.

I do believe we helped out with the last major bushfires there.. and recieved help with the latest bushfires here.

I know that in the past, forest fighters from Canada have helped out in the US, also there have been times when forest fighters from the US helped out with fires in Canadian forests.

Good neighbors. Can/US = Civilized countries.

Actually...I need to make a correction. :) Canada helps us. I like Canadians. When the North Americans are bickering i like to pick on Canada, but we could do far worse for neighbors.

We could have the French for neighbors to the north.

Canada helped us last time with those huge water tanker planes.

Actually, Canada sends fire fighters over to assist quite often, like every year. Ironically, we've got tons goin on right now.

What about that crazy snow storm in Buffalo/NY? Canadian's were sent to help clear out the snow.

I remember a fire up in BC a few years ago and a few hundred American fire fighters came up to help battle that one too. :thumbsup

Sorry man, my anger wasn't directed at you,but rather at the suggestion by some one else who said we shouldn't help americans because of the accident in afghanistan and because our anthem was booed at a hockey game.

Well we all help eachother, or at least the Western powers do.

The Netherlands sent warships when the US started their war on terrorism, to partrol waters that the US navy could not patrol due to the need of those ships in the "war against terrorism".

Germany sent monitoring/spy planes during that time, to patrol the sky above the US.

And France, well not sure what they sent? Wine maybe?

If there is anything negative I could say against the USA it's that they DON'T demand enough of their allies.I know your country is strong enough to do most things on your own ,but it's not really fair.Why should the USA always spend the money and sacrifice
the lives of their troops while the rest of us ,who benifit from it equally,sit on our butts and do nothing? Canada almost had to beg the USA to let us send troops to Afghanistan.
