Now that was just wierd

So I am putting up press releases with the Simpson's playing in the background. I hear a commercial come on that I don't recall hearing before and look up to see that it is an ad for the CIA, looking for job applicants!

Is The Simpson's really where they want to find potential employees?

GrouchyAdmin 09-18-2006 07:44 PM

Well, given that the Simpsons hit their popularity peak in the early 90s - given the amount of paperwork, sure, about now is when they'd have the ads done. :thumbsup

That does seem a bit surreal. I remember the first time I saw the newer-CGI Geico commercial - on the BBC. First time it had an European accent, too.

No, they were targeting people that watch that show. Usually when you get commercial spots you try to target the audience of shows.

Kind of like not sending teen traffic to mature. Not really the same audience.

I rarely make the error, and that would not be a grammar error, it would be a typo, or spelling error.

I am using a laptop full time now. The keyboard issue is a major one since I have been using the same kind of keyboard for about 5 years.
