And The biggest Aussie Actor is....

This beast. Nathan Jones.

I watched The Protector with my friend the other day and we both looked at each other and said "hey, isn't that the big fucker from Troy".

Saw him today again in Fearless with Jet Li.

what an animal! he's just huge. :)

i personally think that Tony Jaa is going to be another huge star in the US and its going to make the existing "martial arts stars" look bad. what he does just doesn't compare to any one else thats done it. its not only intense with amazing choreography but they are also fighting and knocking the shit out of each other which ads to the realism. Fearless was more of the same chinese shit... the usual throw punch/pause, wait for him to block... throw punch/pause, wait him to block type stuff. But it was on ok movie. Pretty emotional ride actually.

but damn! Tony Jaa and his boys do some real damage to each other. Ong Bak reminded me of a Jackie Chan flick with the choreography, but it was without humor and the fighting looked very real. The Protector started weak (the drug deal and all the kids on roller blades/bikes etc was pathetic) but just got better and better and better until the end and you are just left sitting in your seat thinking "holy shit... that was amazing"

and yeah... when that guy slams him like he did that was one of those moments that really makes it all look so real and you can really get into it.

i went to see it in jackson with my dad, and people were actually cheering in the movie theatre, the action was amazingly intense, i am surprised more people do not know about Tony Ja, i saw Ong Bak and The Protector both on opening night.

i am also surprised more people havent been talking about The Protector, it was just simply mind boggling, i heard his stunts have 0 strings attatched also.

the best part in that scene of the drug deal is when he pulls a half front flip and lands on a ledge across a gap in a handstand.

WOW fucking amazing movie.
