Best Bank in UK to open a business account.
 

any answers on this from UK people?

My main use would be depositing checks and i would require a business card to use for online transactions. Large amounts would be kept in the account 50k plus.

are you in the UK? Natwest has always been pretty good for small business people I know.

just go into a local natwest.. and get yourself a meeting sorted. either that or the royal bank of scotland.

I used to like Natwest when I had a business account. Looking at getting another one again soon so if you have any good/bad experiences while looking Darren, let us know. :)

If you are looking for offshore banking also take a look at http://www.citibank.com.hk/ (not in UK though)

It can sometimes be a pain in the ass to get a dollar account through a UK bank although I know some do it. You have a point with the offshore thing, at least it's usually a dollar account that you're given.
