How bad is Quebec City??? Maybe moving there very soon…
 

For all Canadian people.. How is there??? I’m from Vancouver myself living in US, but theres a good chance of me moving my family to Quebec City.. No, MTL is not an option. So how would you rate Quebec City on shit scale of 1 to 10?

I have Canadian friends and the hubby did nothing but trash Quebec and complain about French people

it's a very french canadian culture with very little immigrants.

There is no crime etc... but if you don't speak french, i fear you won't enjoy your stay there much.

Listen, it depends on what you are looking for in the city. It's not a huge city like Montreal. It's also a lot more french. Oh ya, so gven the language issue and the fact there's nothing to do, I give it a 5/10 just because it has a rich history.

yep, thats what i heard about French Canada. I would rather move to MTL, but QC is the only option right now..

french are hard to deal with:2 cents:

F - out of 10, unless you know some people.. montreal is as far east as you want to get in QC. you say family? if you have kids they'll have to learn french real quick.

If you're looking for a slow paced city with little traffic its not so bad..
The city of beauport is really nice and you'll be surprise on how many speak english and alot of Hot babes! :thumbsup

i will not return to quebec city - i was treated horrible there- the people were snobby and asshole like if you don't speak french.

Very beautiful city, has awesome snowboarding/skiing up at Mt Sainte Anne. St Lawrence seaway is a beautiful way to spend a weekend driving up and down it.

I don't know much about living there but the time I have spent there was awesome :)

Its simple man, if ya don't speak French, don't go there. You'll be treated the same way a pure Frenchman would be treated if he went to America: snobbed and laughed at.

If you don't speak french it won't be fun. French people can be pretty rude to English speakers. Lots of good looking girls though.

The greatest thing about Quebec city....is that its only 2h away from Montreal !! ;) ok..kidding...

Seriously, its a nice place to live...and don't worry too much about the language, most everyone speaks both english and french.

and like Vid said, its all about the attitude..every place has its pros and cons..you gotta do the best with them !
