Q: How to make such supersharp thumbs like in movieisle.com ?

Somebody knows how to make the supersharp thumbs like F.E. at movieisle.com ? I'm an average photoshopper, if you do this in photoshop please show us how to do, but if there is ready-made software for this please let me know also...... thanks for your help !

I get a search page, when i put in movieisle.com, but I am guess the answer is unsharp mask.

I use the settings:

amount: 100%
Radius: 1.0
threshold 10

probably you made a typo, as movieisle.com is working ok from my end... you can see NastyDollars content which is amazing sharp....

Those thumbs aren't only sharped, there are some other filter involved. Look at the smooth skin for example, no way you'll get a similar result with the unsharp mask only.

If you're in need of someone who's able to produce exactly the same quality or better, talk to Alessandro 132-818-937 and tell him Thomas sent you.

http://panties4free.com/ ... That's Alessandros TGP, just check out the thumbs ;)

I think that blur effect is much better

Only one of those thumbs is a screencap there.

Those thumbs are terrible :2 cents: . The movieisle.com ones look better if you ask me

SubSonic 09-29-2006 01:16 PM

It's a matter of taste i'd guess. I for one like the quality of the thumbs at his TGP, ok, maybe some of them look like rubberskin but the sharpness of them is great.

And my bad that i didn't notice that movieisle is a movie only site. And yes, for screencaps the quality is top.

smartblur

Then use the history brush to undo things like the eyes, lips, nostrils, hair, etc.

or do it on a new layer then use the layer mask to let the original layer show through on the eyes, lips....

SubSonic 09-29-2006 01:30 PM

Like i know there are only 2 internal filters with some finetuning needed. I would give you the name of the second filter but i guess the german name won't help you much, right?

//edit
That's it, smartblur .. thanks aico :thumbsup

those arent screencaps, some maybe... the mikeinbrazil, mikesapartment and eurosexparties shots are from hi rez photos.

Simple, use the same thumb script he's using. Smart Thumbs. :winkwink:

topshelfdesign 09-29-2006 01:35 PM

i normally use lighting exposure at about 0.20 (mess about with it)
and then smart sharpen, just play around with it until it looks good

Decadawn 09-29-2006 05:09 PM
