Ever notice that when designers....
don't have your shit down they magically make themselves 'unavailable' on the phone, icq, email, etc? If its not done... Christ tell me its not fucking done, don't dodge me for three days.
 |
It's nothing 'magical' it's designer business 101.
It seems to happen often. Normally when they surface, they have one of the top 25 excuses on tap for ye. :2 cents: |
i feel your pain..

Quality, Speed, Price
Pick 2. Don't complain if you demand 3 and they can't live up to it. It sounds like you're not paying enough (your fault), they asked for too little (their fault), you had unreasonable deadlines (your fault), or they don't know how long the project will take and agreed to your deadline so they could get the project (their fault)... or the ever-so-popular (There was no deadline, but now that I'm impatient, I want it now!)... (your fault). I strongly suggest, you don't pay up front. If the designer is good, they will accept this, because they have faith in their work, and know you'll be happy with the results, and they usually have a large client base and saved moneies that they can live on for a while until the project is complete. The ONLY reason you should pay up front is if, it's for a HUGE project that will require months of work, and the designer's time will be occupied for quite a while, they will need some sort of deposit usually. Designers... GET FUCKING REAL with yourself and your expectations of price, as well as knowing how long something will take. Spend some time and put some real thought into the project before you blindly accept it, just to get the money. If you're only out for the money, your career will be short lived anyhow, because you simply need to care about the project to do a good job anyhow. Smarten up, and get up to pace with doing good business. Anyhow, best way to get them to reply is tell them you are going to use someone else, and to refund your $ if you've already given some to them. |

i can explain you why that's happens :)
for designers adult thats a dirty place so not too much quality designers around so, if they want to fuckoff you with site design thats means only once - they don't trouble to find new job/client. Design that's not a just a work, some creative skills must to be here. |

i can repeat designers don't know that sitting in invisible at icq thats not a good way to make solid relationship with clients. |
Man, designers get a bad fucking rap here....
but in honesty... who can say they're perfect? Programmers for instance? They include fucking morons who fuck projects up too... and webmasters... you know what... I've had a fair number of webmasters ask me to do something and then I've not heard shit from them when I'm ready to deliver. Stop slagging one group off all the time, when all groups are fucking morons occassionally! :2 cents: |
