Hippies immune from Alzheimers
 

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) -- Good news for aging hippies: Smoking pot may stave off Alzheimer's disease.

New research shows that the active ingredient in marijuana may prevent the progression of the disease by preserving levels of an important neurotransmitter that allows the brain to function.

yes, pot is a hallucinagen. (spelling) a mild form, but still one. I have seen things when totally medicated up.:pimp

Well, I guess effect always depends on the amount of pot someone smoke; which is something not so favorable for excessive pot users.
