Cash Titans The rest of the story

Posted as a new topic so all might see!!

Once upon a time?.there was this guy that started an adult web site.... Sound familiar? It is about anyone who has ever done that.

This whole thing is about some high minded and power hungry officials wanting to boost their career by being known as ?The guy who killed porn?. Plain and simple, what happens here could be the foothold they need to make this entire industry illegal. It really doesn?t matter if you think what was done was right, wrong, stupid, or anything else. What matters is that now the whole industry is on trial. Politicians don?t care about anything but themselves and their career, and the best way to boost their career is with headlines and sensationalism. Anyone who works for a living usually lives at the standard of living they can afford, some have little savings, but few, if any put back 99% of what they make for ?possible? legal troubles. And this case will probably take 199% of what was generated. Brought on by their own mistakes, or by accident, or any other means is irrelevant, it is there now and it affects EVERYONE in this industry. Many of you are doing things that you consider normal, safe and legal. If the DA wins, it sets a precedent that everything you are doing now is illegal. That means you are out of business. Florida is in the spotlight, but there are 19 other states with similar attitudes and they are anxiously waiting the outcome of this case so the precedent will be set for them to ban all adult material because it will be classified as prostitution to commit a sex act on camera, and not acting. Every state will jump on the latest ?fad? and it will become national policy. Then what do you do, what does anyone do? What will other countries do under pressure by the US?

Restricted by every possible government agency you can think of, we are limited in what we can say here, but the battle rages on with us too. The officials don?t want to see the program/site up and working. Every obstacle imaginable, and a few I bet you have never imagined, are thrown at us everyday. Every time we beat them and pass their stupid audits, we get closer to kicking them off our backs. That makes us stronger in the fight that is in all our interest.

If they lose this fight it will also set a precedent, one that says ?leave us alone, we provide what the public wants.? That is what it is all about. They want to speak for the public. We want to have it on record that the public has spoken, with every join and every purchase of ANYONES content. It seams obvious to us that this is the case, but it does not help a politician so he wants a different interpretation. One that will make him more powerful and gives him more ways to make money off of the public he is supposed to serve.

Donate, don?t donate, your choice. Just be aware that this fight is about more than any one website. IT IS ABOUT US ALL. So anything you do that hurts this case, hurts us all too. Just the same, anything that can be done to help this case, helps us all.

And for all the "government officials" reading this...:321GFY :smiling_b :action-sm :boid :eatme Yes..This is Cash Titans Official Statement. You can quote me !!!

so you mean we all have to pay for your recklessness? That you thought you could anything you wanted anywhere you wanted with no concern for the industry you were affecting?

That is pretty much what I took from it as well. Sounds to me that instead of donating to your cause, people should be suing you for fucking things up.

;).........

CashTitans 10-06-2006 01:49 PM

Your not paying attention guys.....

You are reading but I dont think you are getting it... THE SITE WAS SOLD. We didnt do anything....but because the DA has his claws into the details of this program/site, he is going to use all possible means to get what he wants. NO MORE PORN. Cash Titans is supporting the efforts of the previous owner to beat the BullShit that has been added to whatever, if anything, they did wrong. We are not condoning nor condeming them, we just want everyone to realize that the DA will use any "victory" in this case as a way to come after EVERYONE.

I think inevitably if it wasn't them, it would have been the next guy shooting in one of 49 illegal states. All it takes is one congressman or mayor's teenage son to go onto a porn site and his dad realizes there is a problem and decides to punish the sites that are made in his "district".

They choose to shoot and operate their extreme porn business in a place that has no porn, doesn't allow it.Real bible thumpers. They choose to shoot in public places. Thats reckless. We work in a gray industry, this I can do whatever where ever I want that is so popular with online adult will be the down fall of all of us. Cause in the real world you cant and there isnt a thats not fair defense

There are parts of ALL 50 states and bits and pieces of the "US Territories" that it is illegal. It is illegal in some counties to even own an adult DVD. The next county may promote it. It is like the gambling exemptions. If a polititian can get rich and powerful condemning it, he will. If they can do it by "liscencing it", that is what they will do. Then they will reverse themselves if the political climate changes. That is what happened in Florida. It was a live and let be policy for many years. Then power hungry officials thought it would be an easy way to boost the career(s), so off the deep end we go. These kind of arrests have been happening in places where it is licensed too, California and south Florida. Each one is a threat, and this one is as big a soapbox as they could find. The schedualing of this was pure political and with all the noise they could muster. That should be a wakeup call for everyone in this industry to rally together for a common cause. Even if we dont like each other, and most of us do, we are going to have to work together for OUR common good.

Jace 10-06-2006 02:35 PM

Joesho 10-06-2006 02:41 PM

I do not want what I do mixed with what they did/you do whatever .

against the law is reckless as was saidbefore.

we play by the rules and the law, and companies like this one that did not ( allegedly) HURT us all you are in no way HELPING any of us but yourself.

I will give nothing to that cause.

and some interesting reading that from a legal standpoint is VERY relavant to all this too...............firstamendment.com/pubs_topfive-03-30-01.php3

You may not feel we are fighting for you, but we are fighting for the industry. Wondering who will cry first "I wish I had known it would affect me too" if it blows up to what the Polititions want?

I seem to recall numerous porn related issues based out of Florida. Dating back to the early days of clickcash/ifriends and webcams.

Florida always seemed way to much of a touchy state to produce in.

Man oh man nobody listens Cash Titans doesnt have anything to do with the defence fund so how could any of this possibly help us? And what part of changing the law to make what you do ILLEGAL do you not get? That is what this is all about....changing the law and making everything you have on the web now, a felony. Each and every pic, vid, and such becomes a seperate charge. That is what they throw at us EVERYDAY. If they outlaw what you do, AND ALL YOU HAVE DONE, you are responsible for getting that content off the web and you are out of business. They want to hold you responsible for that content ANYWHERE. Even if it was downloaded when it was legal, now that it is illegal, you are responsible for every computer it is on. Will they getit all. NO but they are shooting high hoping to get all they can. What are you willing to give up????????????????
Think about it. They do every day, we should too.
