wtf - North Korea nuclear test MISSILE ; CONCERNS MOUNT

new report : North Korea nuclear test MISSILE CONCERNS MOUNT

NORTH Korea's vow to carry out a nuclear test may shake China's faith in patient diplomacy over its wayward neighbour's ambitions, forcing it closer to the hardball approach long favoured by Washington and Tokyo.

Uh, no way. The US can sit and watch now (even though they won't)... North Korea has some pretty bad ass neighbors that are not to happy right now. Russia, China, and we'll even throw in South Korea and Japan for their economic power.

Seems NK did their test today, welcome to the nuclear club NK

This one will be a full on multi-national force at least, not just the US Military.

No way in hell is the US going to have a fucking looney toon like Kim having a nuclear arsenal.

TeaseumGirls 10-08-2006 08:17 PM

fuck why do we the USA have to do it all.... someone else step up and take care of it... if we do anything the world gets pissed off and if we don't do anything they cry bloody murder.... china can deal withit

Especially since Kim has a bomb that can reach New York.

Given how well their clock radios work, eventually one will explode just sitting there and take care of the problem for the rest of us.

Damian_Maxcash 10-08-2006 08:31 PM

China and Japan knew this was going to happen - they met YESTERDAY for the first time in 5 years.

They already know what their response will be.

China will take the lead in this - not the USA. I hope.

Can you imagine a Chinese led war with South Korea, Russia, and the United States? LOL, that won't happen but would be hilarious.

Sly 10-08-2006 08:39 PM

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061009/...koreas_nuclear

"The North has refused for a year to attend international talks aimed at persuading it to disarm. The country pulled out of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty in 2003 after U.S. officials accused it of a secret nuclear program, allegedly violating an earlier nuclear pact between Washington and Pyongyang."

Apparently they were right!

whats the benefit to invading N Korea? to become the new owner of a 3rd world pile of rocks with no natural resources and a population thats starving to death?

what you are witnessing is the last dying gasp of a fragile, stalinist regime which has failed its people in every way, shape and form, playing the final "nuclear blackmail card" while rest of the world watches with quiet indifference.

Sorry, I meant it will be the left to the Chinese to 'repremand' NK.

Not that China will side with NK.

Absolutely. Its also a last ditch effort to unify its people, which could just work. These people don't have cell phones, knowing their leader has a nuke must be pretty thrilling.

The only thing North Korea has to gain by having a nuke is the blackmail card. China and South Korea basically feed and fuel North Korea. They have absolutely nothing and they just pissed off 2 of their only real supporters.

what has the US dealt with so far? infact North K was ready to sign a deal a couple years back to stop their weapons program but the US wouldnt sign it. Do some research.

Lazonby 10-09-2006 02:22 AM

China supports North Korea. Always have, always will.

It fucking sucks. Those people in NK are real fanatics (and communists). They may use an A-bomb just to show everybody how tough they are. And their fucking leader will name it something like "call of the duty of the greatest nation".

Pick your response:

A: Too late for that

B: If a looney toon like Bush has a nuclear arsenal, why can't Kim have one?

topshelfdesign 10-09-2006 06:04 AM

If anyone ebsides USA stepped up to take out NK the USA would probably take them out :P

I can see this kicking off big time!

no they weren't. are you that naive about politics? there was already an agreement in place where they were getting oil, money and medicine in turn for suspending their nuclear programs. IAEA inspectors were there monitoring facilities etc. they promptly started enriching uranium in other facilities in another part of the country. in the end, the finally decided they were close enough to start trying to make a bomb, kicked out the IAEA inspectors, removed all UN seals from equipment, disabled all UN/IAEA cameras and monitoring devices, told the world to fuck off, started "test firing" missiles and started demanding more money and support. they walk out on talks and negotiations. they are the ones threatening war. thats not the actions and behavior of a regime which just wants peace and happiness.

that was the whole point of the breakdown with bush... they were violating the agreements anyway, they were still getting the benefits of the agreement and they were still agressively pursuing nuclear weapons. even clinton considered bombing them in 94'

Webby 10-09-2006 10:10 AM

This thread is a joke.

Why the fuck would NK be interested in nuking any other country? Like Iran, they were threatened. Is a country now expected to sit back and listen to threats from, in this instance, the US and tolerate the bullshit? Get real.

NK would most likely be blown off the map should they adopt agressive action with nuclear power - and not just by the US.

Iran is adopting the same policy - thanks to US threats again. Do they have plans to "nuke the US"? Gimme a break.

India and Pakistan continue with their nuclear programs - along with all other nuclear powers and spouting about how other nations should not have them. None of that shit is constructive - it is irrelevant who possesses the weaponary - they can all be totally irresponsible.

Meanwhile the main complainant is the US - the one country who has performed more nuclear tests than almost all others. Quit bitching and get your panties out of a twist - welcome to the reality which was partly brought on by threatening other nations.

The spread of nuclear proliferation is a global problem. Many nations do have a desire to pursue nuclear activity - they are more qualified than others to object to any nation who does engage in nuclear development. The pot calling the kettle black gets boring.

True.... and the shortsightedness of your post made me chuckle the most (and not the ha-ha funny way).
