Today I got an email about a new registration, and noticed that the user verified very quickly. Most of our new registrations have been spam bots that don't have modules built in to follow email verification links.

After he joined, I went on the board, got his ip address, and grepped our access log for the ip, and became shocked about what was found.

The user came from this yahoo video search link where my completely innocent forum is listed as the sixth result:

http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=ped...yfp-t-500&b=21

In addition to that, he immediately used the board search utility to search for the string "vid".


Why must Yahoo have my site listed as a forum for pedophiles :(

Are Pedos bad customers? Besides, if you run a teen site, maybe you can help to substitute his sexual preferences, so he doesn't have to look at pedo porn or strive for real kids.

I think it could hbe a good thing, actually.
