Affiliate programs that have shown innovation in the last year?
 

People seem quick to bash on programs that aren't "innovative", can anyone show me examples of programs in the last year that have been really innovative? Marketing tools, sites, promotional stuff, whatever.

there is still alot to do , but I believe we have done a pretty good job at building innovative paysites and promo tools!

I'll tell you this , I logged into about 50 affiliate programs last night looking for a specific advert , 90% of affiliate programs BLOW and after looking through their affiliate section , one can only imagine the members area .

People just like to bitch and moan.

People like Franck see a new program from someone they don't like and it's "ooh, new sites, new girls... big deal. Give me something that no one else has" and then another program comes along from a "top notch" person they've shaken hands with and is suddenly going to be the biggest program ever.

What do you want to see from your ideal program?

a sexual rewards program.. x amount of sales gets you a certain sex act from a hot chick

big props to occash for their tutorial on rss feeds, not sure if anyone else does that, but if they dont, they should now

any affiliate manager who is any good signs up to other affiliate programs to keep an eye on what the other guy is doing

A lot of cool programs have been innovating with promotional tools, or at least adding rss feeds, dynamic feeds, plugins, flash banners or "flanners"?, build your own ______, etc..

There's a tendency to think that a program isn't going to be very innovative if it uses a standard script like NATS.. but some NATS programs are doing a nice job of working with it and extending it.

My vote is for Nubiles.

They always seem to be coming out with new stuff fairly often. One of the latest that comes to mind is hosted flash videos. It allows you to place a flash video of the Nubiles sample videos with your link code embedded into the movie just about anywhere you can think of.

Their RSS stuff is probably the best out there too...

We've been pushing the limits of Nats for some time now and they've been great about adding things we need. I believe we were the first Nats Program to have BYOT and BYOG .. we also have a fully coded link list for Affiliates to add to their trade script ...it updates everyday and is and easy way to add all our galleries ..

Our Cabana 18 has been a successful part of Smashbucks and we are working on some new affiliate tools that I can def say are very innovative. Just wait and see.

Ok, now I can actually talk to someone who speaks like an adult.

For the record, I started the paragraph as two separate points but they joined into one.... the first half was directed to people like you, who see programs started by people they don't like. The second half was a generalization about how people praise a program started by someone they know.

It blended inself into one long thought where it all seemed like a generalization towards you. That's what I get for getting two thoughts all into one really long run on sentence.

Now, had you of been mature about it, I'd have said that you're right about the second part, and I apologize. But instead you cried out with nothing but insults and attacks... as usual.

Seriously, when this board started, it was a revelation how many sponsors (I am signed up with) were posting news here which never reached my mailbox (and my anti-spam thingy lets me see the source and title before it deletes anything). Close to half apparently expected affiliates to visit their sites for news, obviously never figuring out that if we actually did that, we would never get any work done.

Not so many post here any more and/or sponsors have got better about emailing affiliates, but that was and is the only real reason I visit here...

I would say some of the tour innovations at Jaymancash for Raven and Liz. I'd like to think our tours for Joon and Lily are pretty innovative, and our gallery builder is one of the more dynamic ones out there.

And things will only get better.

we've been trying to take free hosted blogs/rss feeds to another level by giving our affiliates quality content, keyword rich text, and the ability to fully customize their link codes into our blogs and rss feeds, and the response we have been receiving has been awesome.

i know this is just one of many promo tools that affiliates use and we are working very hard to develop as many other quality promo tools for affiliates to use as we can, we have made it a point that we are here to help our affiliates make money and want as much input from them as possible on the types of promo tools and sites they'd like to see from us.
