Doesnt anyone make freesites anymore?

Im looking for some good freesites to add to my 6k unique daily PR5/4 linklist.
I am having a hard time finding freesite makers that want to submit.

Excellent look forward to sending you free targetted traffic :)

Sly 10-24-2006 09:13 PM

I see you have a few open categories that I can pretty much fill up, but I can't go back and add recips to them. Is this ok with you? Also, would you be up for some niche page link trades?

squishypimp 10-24-2006 09:13 PM

good luck, free sites are far and few between these days.

Sly really the basis of allowing free submissions is to increase the networking between your freesites and other linklists, thats why I am accepting submissions based on recipricol links, so I couldnt accept many that did not have my linklist link on there.

The niche page link trades I have been thinking about with other linklists, why what ya got? Just trying to keep the site as clean and targetted as possible so keep that in mind. :)

CaptainHowdy 10-24-2006 09:21 PM

Everyone's cashing in with blogs... ;(!

Sure, I understand that. But you're sitting there with totally empty categories that I can fill, giving surfers a reason to actually look in those categories again. Yes, this time around you lose the 1 click each recip link may give you, but since I submit daily you'll be receiving plenty from me.

I can't go make dupes of 50 sites just to submit to you. Besides, each dupe would only have your link anyway, there's hardly a point to that.

I dont want clicks from your freesites I want the SE network love man :)
Also I dont want "surfers" really I want customers, if they go into some of those categories now they will most likely click on a sponsor link.
I understand that you cant go back and do that but maybe consider submitting to my LL when you start making some freesites again. :)

I know what you mean, just old terminology that I havent heard in awhile :)

baX 10-24-2006 10:01 PM

I was working them for one whole year and had a nice income from them but I stopped because didn't had more space on my hosting and the job was a bit boring. After a long brake I'm planning a big come back next month so maybe I'll check your LL.

Persius 10-24-2006 10:24 PM

I think its confusing with that term. A freesite is a site that is free, right? :)

MaddCaz 10-24-2006 10:32 PM

let's get FREE

A standard free site setup has a warning page leading to a main page which has links to two galleries. Each of these pages contained ads. So these small free sites have two pages which have ads before any content is seen. Many surfers go to the sponsor before seeing any free content. This traffic is targeted and converts great.

Mefo 10-25-2006 12:01 AM

NoWhErE 10-25-2006 12:22 AM

I tried doing freesites for awhile, but didnt do that well. The amount of work involved was far greater than the return. I know free site traffic is supposed to be constant, but thats not what I've seen.

From my experience the Free Site game has becoming nothing more than glorified TGPs

Dagwolf 10-25-2006 12:25 AM

Sent you an ICQ.

You sort of missed the point of freesites. The intial traffic may make a couple of sales if you're lucky but is not the ultimate goal. The goal is simply to have a network of properly linked, properly optimized 'free sites' ideally on a variety of domains and better still on more than one server.

Do it right and you get sales from initial traffic, older listed sites and more importantly Google and friends. A lot of work, time and patience though but well worth it. It's not the quick fix TGP traffic is but does give much better long term income. :2 cents:

that sort of misunderstanding is why so many that have a tgp background are getting frustrated with blogs. They don't understand that type of traffic building. Which I hope means a lot give it up and leave the blogging to me ..lol

nico-t 10-25-2006 03:16 AM

i stopped making freesites and tgp galleries a long time ago.. too much work and too little traffic

MassiveDollars - DonPaul 10-25-2006 04:12 AM

you have counters on your linklists which is a big NO-NO in the linklists world.

Very much so. Building traffic is an alien concept to many. If they don't get instant traffic and sales they become confused without stopping to think that instant traffic usually dies pretty instantly too.

We switched some of our effort from porn to mainstream stuff 3 years ago. It's just now started to pay off and is doing so in a big way. Again though, it's building traffic and planning ahead. Do it properly and it's hard not to come out a winner no matter what product you're selling.

Can you please explain the logic in this "no no"? Frankly I dont see why it makes a difference? SEs wont penalize for having a counter on a page and thats the point of a linklist, SE traffic is the mainstay.
