Its not always the case - I was in hospital with a girl who had tried 10 or more times....

These where things like jumping off cliffs into the sea and off multi story car parks.

She jumped in front of a train, mistimed it and bounced off the side and landed on her ass back on the platform. Broke most of the bones in her body - but lived.

She ended up getting raped by one of the other patients got pregnant and died of 'natural' causes during the pregnancy.

She might not sound it but she was great fun - we used have hysterics about all her misadventures....

add up all the time these guys waste saving people that dont want to fucking live... and imagine the next time your grandma falls down the steps and breaks her hip and the paramedics cant get there for 40 minutes cause some asshat dont know how to kill himself proper is being treated for rope burn on his neck cause he cant pick out a strong enough branch to tie off to.

Pretty much. Insert gun into mouth, tilt upward at 60 degree angle and pull trigger. Only takes one time and you're done. There's no rescuing you from that.
