All-As many of you heard yesterday, eBay annouced the purchase of PayPal. In that announcement they stated they would be getting out of gambling. We believe that they will also be walking away from the adult business.

its definately possible. but they need to focus on the bottom line. so i highly doubt they will get out of the adult side of the business.

if ebay's running paypal they'll need all the revenue they can get. ebay's track record so far has been a joke with online payment companies. hopefully they learned their lesson the first time.

there was nothing in their release that said getting out of adult, or anything else, except gambling... ibill cathy might be trying to scare people out of paypal proccessing or whatever and to come to ibill, you don't know their master plan wizzo

Ebay is run by a woman who has publicly stated opposition to the online adult industry. I will try to fetch a link, I remeber her in an interview on cnbc mentioning this.

ebay has a board of directors

its going to take more then a voice of 1 person to change their views of the adult industry and what action they want to take about it

I have always stood by my belief that because the internet is real time, and when a surfer joins one of my sites his money is gone in real time, that the fucking green should be in my hot little hands.... IN REALTIME.

I can take my paypal debit card and before a guy even pops his load, I have his membership money in my pocket from the nearest atm machine. This is the closest I have gotten to getting payed real time, and it kicks ass. I have no doubt ebay will fuck this up big time.

Big corporate assholes who stand up against porn are usually the same people who got rich from it, and try to pretend otherwise.

running out to the atm machine to debit $100 here and there of joins "REAL TIME" isn't very thrilling...

its harder to keep track of your money via small withdrawls then it is in big chunks.
