So, I ordered a PS3. Now, what do I do with it?
 

I know I will never open the box, so, should I sell it on eBay or Craig's List, or should I hold a contest and give it away to one of our customers?

I don't really get the fascination, but I should probably take advantage of it.

Legit question. Sure, I could sell it on eBay and make $700-900 on it, or I could use it as some incentive to get new clients on our upcoming release, or as a gift to thank our customers that have made 2006 such a great year. That might be worth more than the quick $700.

If the pre sales are not selling out, the consoles won't sell out when they come, Sony is in a crunch right now, they have lost big money lately, they can not afford to play the shortage game this time around, they need to sell as many as they can right here in the US market before years end......

First thing you should do it sit down and have a long hard thought about why you would ever buy something that you have no interest in and have no idea what to do with.

ummm you do nothing since it's likely they wont have enough shipping to fill preorders in most places and you probably wont get one

Go to the nearest children hospital and give it away. Next time don't get anything you don't need/want. This will give you more credit than running to GFY posting about somthing you didn't want.
