TexasDreams loaned me a guitar to play until I get my guitars shipped down from Toronto. This thing plays like a dream and Texas isn't gonna get it back.

I've never played those Made In Korea PRS guitars but have heard some good things about them. I'll always be a Gibson guy at heart though.

I have a Gibson Les Paul Standard and I have to say this plays just as nice. The gibson sound a bit better but nothing a pickup change won't cure.

Learning to play the guitar and piano are on my list but first I must finish learning Spanish.

That's a thexy PRS... perhaps you just misplaced it... TD will understand.

Might be a good guitar to throw some EMGs into. This way you don't have to worry about modding a Gibson and hurting the value of the guitar...

Exactly my thought... I have an Ibanez RG-565 that I put EMG's into and it is awesome. The gibson is stock and will stay that way.

i've always been a fender guy. but i would love to own a les paul studio some day, in the 3 color sunburst.

i've never gotten a chance to play a PRS though. i've heard nothing but good reviews so far.

It looks like the LP Studios are still on sale for $999 at least for a little while longer at Music123. Head over there and do a search for les paul studio and partway down the page is a pic of the wine red one and it says $999. Hit that and then at the description page you can choose the Fire Burst color from the drop down menu. You can't beat that price that's for sure.

I'm a guitar whore, the more the better even if I don't need them.

I have guitars for specific needs. Some are tuned to A 440 standard tuning some are tuned to E flat. Then the odd one is tuned to an alternate tuning.

I like having the ability to just pick up a guitar and go.... which is why I have so many.

I use to play in a band and did it for a living... now I do it for fun... I keep a guitar next to my computer as a release and to keep my creative mind alive.
