Gun's and roses new album
 

Anyone heard the bootleg? My friend got the CD.. it's named 'Whenever it's done', not sure if it's the name of the album, or whether this is just some studio Jamming, but it sounds pretty fine. Surprised really.

Album is I think supposed to be "Chinese Democracy" but then again its been so long I don't keep up with it

They should name the album "Oxygen" :upsidedow

Alteast there was a track called Chinese democracy on the CD, I *know* the album was supposed to be called it..but who knows.

I read that Axl was up to his old stunts again when he took his new band on tour. Sad.

It's still called "Chinese Democracy." It should be bloody well fine, after all it's been 10 years in the making LOL.

They are coming to Toronto Nov. 15. I'm going to go if Axl does :P

This album has taken longer to make than trees take to grow. In porn terms, it was started about when the first pay per click program came into being in the porn business, and if it takes much longer, will come out when the affiliate model is finally put to sleep.

In the meantime, Axl has had plenty of time for tons of plastic surgery. So I guess it's a wash.

Well, I have EVERY SINGLE leak so far ... from live, to studio demos'. Not ONE track leaked is final.

The studio tracks that are definitely from the Chinese Democracy Sessions are:

Oh My God (Actually released on the End Of Days OST in 1999 but no more than a rough demo... unlikely to be on the Chinese Democracy album).

These have not been leaked as Studio demo's... however... listen closely on an advert for Boston Radio, when GnR came to town in 2002, and you will hear quite definitely, studio cuts... just small samples, from what appears to be The Blues and Chinese Democracy.

To say it is GnR is a pretty big stretch. the only one left from the original group is Axl. He brought in a bunch of new people and calls it GnR because the owns the name.

They milked this way too long. I swear it's been a few years that they said this would be coming out, no?

BTW, Smashing Pumpkins are putting out a new album too.

I really don't know why they keep the name Gun's and Roses. Without Slash and the others I think it should be call Axl and Company.

Oh well still love the good ol GNR I think it's a music that will never die.

LOL I don't think that they should be called GnR either. But seeing that my main focus has always been the music and Axl, I don't really care what he calls himself...We actually, I would prefer if he called it "Sherie's Man Servent" LOL

I have all those too ... but I have SHIT LOADS of soundboard recorded concerts from 2002, and 2006... plus obviously a LOT of old stuff too (old band from 86 - 94) ... The legend of GnR is something I could write a book about with no research. I am religiously into GnR, old and new... Slash is my idol and I have a LOT of respect for the old band, but also the new... since they've taken a lot on and have so far delivered a lot when it comes to the shows they've put on. And the tracks that have leaked... There Was a Time has some beautiful guitar work on it... simple, but lovely. Robin Finck on that stuff. Plus of course Buckethead is on the leaks, and will be on the album, even tho he quit three years ago... Ron Thal took his place, but hasn't recorded for the album. No time. Album will drop this or next month.
