I can tell you a lot about PacketStorm. It use to be an archive of security/hacking related material.

When I was working as a consultant for the FBI and Pentagon, I had Harvard University shut them down after they posted the picture, name and address of my sister, who was 17 years old and living with my parents at the time, along with suggestive language about raping her.

I was receiving death threats from a terrorist organization with ties to Al-qaeda at the time because I exposed attempts by them to buy classified data stolen by a hacker from a sensitive military network.

Her picture, along with my parent's address being posted, posed a risk to her well being in my eyes, and in the eyes of the local authorities, who had to increase patrols around their house until the individual was apprehended.

My investigation led to an FBI raid of a hacker group which stole the information and attempted to sell it.

The New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, ABC CBS BBC and NBC news all did stories on it if I remember the incident correctly.

I believe it also appeared in a special MTV did on the subject that I was on.

When there's a man that the feds tell me has ties to a terrorist organization, who's trying to spend tens of thousands of dollars to buy sensitive data stolen from a military network, making threats against my life and the lives of other of my family members, yes, I took that very seriously.
