Russian people wouldn't watch Borat movie in cinemas.
 

The ministry of culture and cinematography of Russia refused to give the lisence for film distribution in Russia.
It claimed that the movie contains lots of humiliating and distorting reality facts about different nationalities and religions.

Those distributors of the movie still have the right to appeal against this decision to court. So there is a small hope left. :)

You may surprise, but much people in Russia see Hollywood films for a 2-3 weeks before premiere (bothly net and swarn cds).

In Ukraine the situation is much more better, but also not perfect.

I just watched it today in the theater and it was amazing. I haven't laughed so hard for ages. :D I'm sure Russians will figure out a way to get it...they always do.

Its a stupid comedy, people need to lighten up
