Serious question: Do fools get away with more in Adult?
 

Alright,
I can dig that this mess is not quite the place for a serious question,
But it's free to ask a question.. so...

I'm always on here now and then reading about some of the shit that goes on and I don't know how alot of the people stay alive.. All I can say to the ones who are getting away with alot of shitty business, don't try it outside of Adult, you won't last long..

Is it because of long distances, anonymity.. what?

A lot of mainstream businesses get away with shitty business too. Call centers where people barely speak English (in this country), poor telephone queueing systems, delivery delays, slow service, poor customer service in general. Then there are the Worldcoms of the world.

Well people can get away with it for a few things

1. Its online, drama is pretty much expected and getting ripped off or fucked over on a deal is very common these days even for mainstream

2. Any industry that involves big money (adult/casino/travel/pharmacy/mlm) will always attract shady people. Hell even contractors fuck you over.

3. Tons of people just don't care, if the ceo of walmart flashed his penis at traffic it'd be all over the news and investors would get angry. If howard stern did it everybody would laugh and have fun with it.

I'm talking about shit like not paying commissions, stealing, lying, fucking someones wife in her ass, uh,
Etc.
Seems like you hear alot of that type of bullshit in this game and you never hear about the murders that follow it up.. so everyone in adult just shrugs their shoulders and lets shit slide, I wouldn't think so,
Who knows.

Well what is the story if all this shit I read on these internet forums really happens how come half of you ain't shot eachother by now..

you have to assume that everybodies doing everything to get as much money as possible all the time no mattter waht

Just follow all the SEC investigations. Lots of dirty public companies out there and many people getting fucked in the ass.

All of the business I've ever done was less than.. normal.

If I would have ever fucked someone out of even a few thousand I wouldn't be typing right now or breathing- I think that is the way it ought to be. I can't imagine someone getting over on me for over maybe 20 bucks even when I was making thousands every week.. Anything over a hundred bucks or so still would have made me murderous and horrible

I guess I don't understand people who take it in the ass for several grand or more and they don't go out and at least break the guys face.

See, now you see, see.

1. Can't give a percentage, 'cuz they're all made up anyway, but I'm willing to guess most shit you read on an adult message board about ANYTHING is bullshit.

2. The anonymity of being on the web definitely doesn't help, because there's a lot of shady fuckers out there, regardless of "industry".

3. For $20 or $2000, is someone going to spend many times more than that hunting down another for death or prosecution? We're talking about keyboard warriors here, making shit up about how much they make and how tough they are. Go to a webmaster convention and you'll know what I'm hinting at.... ( i.e. pussies )

I'm too lazy to go on. Like everyone else said, it happens in every other industry, every day, by shady bitches all over the planet. Stopping that is like stopping the unchecked proliferation of the human species -- just not going to happen.

What are you talking about ? Online mainstream business have a way shitter attitude then adult... just try it.

Try to deal with a mainstream affiliate program on anything...
