Sitting at home, I really don't want to run out to the store - for a couple small basics (soda, crack, etc) at 1am.

(for those of you that don't know - you were able to order anything from condoms to dvds to meals from restaraunts)

Yeh. but that's retarded. there are more than enough affluent/busy individuals who when they finally get home to their families don't want to have to run back out for a gallon of milk ... or modest income and lazy individuals... that once they come home and crash on the couch ... don't want to get up til morning.... to support a 24/7 oncall ... delivery service in cities like seattle, san fransisco and new york.

Small geographic spaces, higher than normal affluence, .com lifestyles and also at least in seattle limited options after 9pm.

those were the days indeed
