when did they start using zango to "advertise"? If it was about a month or two ago maybe that is why my revenue from them practically dropped to zero.

You're talking about a % of traffic that doesn't translate evenly to a corresponding % of conversions or signups. It's old knowledge that sources of "newb" traffic usually converts best. They're more likely to get infected by adware, and more likely to be a source of your sales. The % of traffic being intercepted could represent a much larger % of lost conversions or sales.

Wow, is that Lars Signature? He's probably another reason more and more people will start turning off their sigs instead.

At this point, I am shocked if someone isn't shopping for a lawyer to take class action in California. Not that I would do it (I am in another country) but damn, this seems pretty much like a workable situation.
