why the fuck.....in 2006, does every black QB starting a game, get calls from Mccnabb, Charlie Fry, Michael Vick & fucking Jessy Jackson?

Did they not notice about 80% of the nfl is black now? It's not a huge accomplishment.

When are we going to get over the bullshit & start referring to people as players, & not black/white players.

well let's be honest here - while 80% of NFL players are black there are so few black QB's still. But it is getting better and it is time they laid this to rest - in the NFL anyway - the NFL doesn't care whether you're red, green, black or white if you can win games. In college and high school - i still think in many parts of the country they favor white kids as quarterbacks because of the myth that blacks aren't smart enough to play quaterback and are best at the raw skill positions like running back, wide receiver - and offensive and defensive lines.

Notice how Michael Vick threw 7 TDs in a few games and all of a sudden he had 15-20 minute segments on every fucking pre-game show?

It mau not have much to do with what you're talking about here, but don't forget that the redskins are the only team to win a SuperBowl with a black QB (Doug Williams).

I believe it was Portis and a playmaking defense that took us to the playoffs last year. Brunell played average at least down the last stretch of the regular season, and quite poorly during the playoffs. Brunell is a bum and I'm glad he's on the bench.

I think Brunell is a smart veteran QB, but right now we need a spark man. We have one of the most talented (on paper) teams in the entire league...and we're sitting at 3-6. Hopefully this new cat will be able to get it out to our receivers a little more than brunell has.

I understand what you're saying. However, I still think it's impressive that we can say we're the only team to win a superbowl with a black QB. It's not a racist thing at all.

It is sad only that people bother to look at the ethnic make up or background of a person.

Is he a good quarterback? Isn't that more important than skin color anyway?
