Question for those of you that are jacked up about the Democrats taking control.
 

So I was watching the Daily Show last night, and watched the interview with Rahm Emanuel. I was not impressed. Were you?

I will take it that no one else was impressed either.

Tom Delay would have been more impressive ....

He's an interesting guy. I actually know a little bit about him since he's my representative.

I don't like him for the fact he's one of the partisian guys who believes it should be a war between parties. Republicans get bashed for it, and he'll go in doing the same thing.

He also has become too national for my liking. He's on all the Sunday talk shows and a big name in Washington, which means we hardly ever see him here. He hasn't done enough for the area and he fucked up some things with public transportation that has caused problems to daily commuters like myself. With Democrats in power, it'll be interesting to see if he can push more money to our area and get some things done.

The one thing I like about him is that he is actually a smart guy. He made millions in the private sector and knows his shit. I'd rather have a guy who can make it in the private sector than what we have today in congress, a bunch of silver spoon morons who couldn't cut it in the private sector.

Overall, I'm split on him.

I don't think the Democrats have much talent to chose from. But my god ,any man ,woman, or child could do a better job than the babbling monkey we have running our country now!!

Isn't Rahm a Clinton cronie? I wouldn't trust him for that alone.
