Anybody Else NOT Getting Paid by Fetishbucks?
 

This is not a bashing thread. But I do want to know if I'm the only one.

Fetishbucks last check to me was for the last period in June. It is now almost December.

I have never received a reply to any email (And I have sent numerous to many different addresses within fetishbucks/coldcoffee).

I have gotten a few responses from Bernard via ICQ though.

About a month ago he told me that they had a payout/stats script problem and that they were switching to the NATS system and that it would be about 2 weeks until they are caught up. A month went by and nothing yet. I'm not even getting any ICQ responses anymore.

I am owed about $3k

I am not saying they are gonna screw me and I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt. But for me that's alot of $$ and it is getting a bit worriesome.

I just want to know if anybody else promoting FB has this same problem and if they have contact them, what they think etc...

my stats NEVER matched up with the checks i got.

if i made $2000 (stats) they might send me $850.
each time i emailed them i got no answer.

why are people so stupid? we could have made $1000's together, but instead they feel the need to steal short term.
you don't have the only affiliate program in town assholes.

This isn't what I was hoping to hear.

I did a search on here for "fetishbucks" and saw no threads that mentioned any problems so I assumed they were ok...

After hearing about 2 others here who have had similar problems I'm pissed that I'm most likely gonna lose my $3,000 and a good converting sponsor (of which there are few).

Others who promote FB please post your good/bad experiences.

FB and Bernie are stand up no doubt.

Its is a rock solid company who has been around for many many years

I have know and done business with dig since 99 and he has always done the right thing

i have been in this business since 1997. one thing i have learned is DON'T TRUST ANYBODY!

don't wait 5 months on a check that isn't coming. i give them 2 months tops to get their shit together. after that, i pull the plug on them and move on.

yes it's hard to drop a sponsor that converts well, but it doesn't make sense keeping their links up if they don't pay.

you could be promoting a new sponsor in the mean time. then, if they pay up put their links back up.

if you let it go on and on, you WILL be used and abused.

the next move they will probably make (if you are a moneymaking affiliate) is to copy your domain in hopes of getting hits from the search engines.

example:

fetishfucks.com to fetish-fucks.com

I just sent this thread to dig. I would have to check my accounting software to see when I last received a check, but I think it was about a month ago.

nobody is getting fucked, nobody has EVER gotten fucked by me or any program associated with me.

We are running executive stats. A month ago or so the accountant, who does the payouts according to what the script tells him to pay, noticed that the numbers suddenly were completely out of whack for the current payout period compared to typical payout numbers. I immediately got the techs working on it, and also a different set of techs working on getting us switched over to NATS. The tech working on the payout system says he's pretty much got the problem nailed down, and right now we're correlating the numbers with the raw numbers from the various billing processors involved. As soon as we feel confident that the numbers are correct we will do an immediate payout of all monies owed. It was necessary during the process to move all paysites and databases onto brand new servers, which slowed us down some.

When the nats switchover is complete we'll be rolling the program over to what you see at nats.fetishbucks.com, along with completely new custom sites etc and a whole suite of new tools for webmaster promotions.

I have been completely accessible this entire time and more than willing to explain exactly what we're doing here, as Sly and a number of other webmasters can attest.

While I can understand where your anger is coming from, I think I will reserve judgement until I read what diggy has to say.

Also, I apologize for the delay. I'm doing everything I can to make this happen ASAP, I know it's not pleasant for fbucks webmasters and believe me, it hasn't been pleasant for me either.

Like I said, I understand where your anger is coming from, I have had sponsors crap out on me over the past 8+ years as well, believe me. But I also realize that until all sides of an issue have had their say it probably isn't wise to pass judgement on them. I'm speaking from my own perspective of course, and that of anyone reading this thread who might possibly be considering promoting fetishbucks.

I had one of my best-converting fetish sponsors go through a bout of trouble with having to change processors not once but three times in the course of about a year. This happened around 2005 to early 2006, and believe me I had to wait quite a bit longer than 5 months to get some of the money I was owed. But I was in constant contact with the owner of that program (and still am), and she also sent out regular emails to me and to her other affiliates about it. Once back on track I began getting regular cheques from her program again, so I'm glad I had the patience to stick with it.


Dig appears to have made the mistake of not posting about this problem more or not to have kept his affiliiates in the loop, but again.... that may not be the case, I don't know. I DO know that it is always a good thing to keep in regular contact with people whom you do business with and especially those who you might owe money to. There would be a lot less "where's my money?" threads if more people did that.

I have taken my FB links down temporarily and will wait until you make the complete switch and will also wait for the monies owed. It's just that 5 months is a long time. I will be happy to put the links back up when that's done.

CDSmith - You are right about the contacting. Dig420 did tell me via ICQ that he was having script problems but was never in any regular contact with us nor did I ever get any email responses. With regular contact like you say alot of anxiety would be avoided.

This is true, I pester dig all the time and never have a problem getting in touch with him. He's online more than anybody else I know. He's been having major technical problems for a while now and has been slowly but correctly getting everything setup properly so the next version of FB can launch. Some new good looking sites are coming out as soon as its all ready.

Mopek, right in the middle of all this shit the servers started crapping out, so we had to buy all new servers and put site tours on one set of servers, member areas on another, all dbases on another, mail on yet another, and so on and so forth. Therefore email communication was pretty spotty for awhile, but I was always immediately available via ICQ or my cell phone, which is listed on the fbucks website. It was just a series of events where anything that COULD go wrong, DID go wrong, but we're coming out of it just fine now after a huge investment of $$ and programmer hours.

CDSmith, GFY loads and reacts so slowly for me that I hardly ever spend any time here these days, and in any case it would have been just fine with me if all these issues had stayed on the downlow until they were resolved :)

My links will stay down for the time being but I do look forward to the new changes in the program and promoting it again.

I will also post back here when I do get my check(s) so that others reading this thread will not have a distorted view of FB.

yes, but that would just result in a more difficult job when we're ready to do the total payouts. Best just to keep it clean and simple.

I'd rather see it squashed with a check that arrives before Xmas.

It's been two weeks. How about an update from Fetishbucks?

Natnet and my techs are in there, we need to make a few small changes to the php config and then we should be good to go. How's that?

Hopefully the changes will be done tomorrow, the software will be tested over the next few days, payouts will go out early next week. Crossing my fingers.

All these php excuses or others for months don't hide the facts that you are NOT paying out.

As I suggested above, you could send an " on account " payment with all the money you are " holding " on behalf of your affiliates ... You still have that money ... I hope ....
