why GFY is so slow?
 

GFY is supposed to be the reference for webmaster and the board is most of the time slow as hell :Oh crap

almost unuseable here. I made a quick reply in a thread and as soon as the post was added I clicked to edit the post but too much time had expired.

its a real pain in the ass surfing this board..
lots of interesting stuff but the ping is so slow that it become really silly to surf and wait the response then the page loading very slow... and its almost the same thing everytime i come here.. 1 of 2 it's SLOW

people should get fired for this, come on.......they've got the money to buy some server or tweak the board

I have gotten used to using 4 or 5 tabs to give time for things to load.
Bad that I have gotten used to it being slow :(

Also slow here has been this way since a month. Bad servers, bad network, server overload, not enough ram?

I thought my computer was bogged down with scumware and that's why it was so slow

when the board is slow for me I normally open another window with the url www.gfyboard.com I have no idea how this is faster because I presume they use same server but you should try it

Its not very responsive. I dont think its a bandwidth problem. It loads fast once its ready. I think its a database thing or a shitty server thing
