I think sponsors should add a script where the affiliate can make the hosted galleries template and make all galleries the way he want it to look.... most sponsors got shitty non-converting designs...anyway this can be great...you can also design your galleries to look like a part of your site....

who will be the first one to make that? I want %%%%%%%%%%%%%% :thumbsup

Would love to chat a few moments about this on ICQ with you if you don't mind. Just trying to figure out how much functionality would be needed to make it actually work. It could be super simple or pretty complex, all depends on what one person would look for.

What Dvae said, ARS already does that. You can do your own desgn, pick your own content etc.

You know I was just thinking that the other day.. Would be nice if someone would do that.. Allow you to upload you're own templates.

Of course you would have to work with their thumb set ups, but could still use your own templates.

ars has that for some time now. They pay $2/generated signup. So for every tour you designed and made matching galleries for you get $7/BYOHG generated signup.

we have this since 2002, but not giving you the option to put your own templates because ours are better ;-)

that would be nice! and other webmasters could use it with a % or per sign up flat rate fee for every signup.. ars have that and satancash thats what i remember

I am pretty sure most sponsors would host your gallery for you if you asked... I know I would.

Get in touch with me and i'll give you templates that will do miracles ;-). We work and also employee not some of the best, but the best designers in the industry. GalleryBuilder of DieselTools will allow you to use your own template, but its release will take some months.

that's a good idea. while we don't have something in place right now to do that, we do add content into affiliates templates all the time. they just send em over and we plug in as much content and make as many galleries as they want from them. either send em back or setup their own domain to host em. if you ever wanted something like that, just let me know :)

As Dave pointed out, one thing I cannot understand here is how no one knew about ARS-BYOG program.. If you're promoting galleries and want them done your way - there is over 500-600 sites to choose from, download their psds and build your own templates (keep them private just for you or public for anyone else) and you get paid $2 whenever someone signs up to ANY site you made the template for. The system is absolutely great, works fantastic and it's been like that for quite a while. BYOFHG - Earn $2 per sale on sales sent to your galleries. Send traffic to your own galleries and earn that same $2 per sale ON TOP of your regular payout.

Designers are often great at designing eyecandy while the experienced gallerybuilder knows what converts. Why not use them and make it a win-win-win situation. The designer, the program and the webmaster all win. And being cheapstake? I think it costs the programowner alot more to do it the BYOFHG way than just letting some designer design a $25 template.

Like aico said, I don't have anything currently setup to automate this, but I'd gladly host galleries for any affiliate.
