San Diego Super Chargers

I have been telling you all that LT and the boys are going to win the Super Bowl this year. Not only that but LT will be the leagues MVP. Let?s see if my predictions come true....:)

Vegas Ken 12-04-2006 01:42 PM

Go Bolts !

Craig T 12-04-2006 02:19 PM

San Diego has done well, we'll see if they can get there in the very tough AFC playoffs.

Question for you Jesse.... What will San Diego Fans think when Drew Brees, the quaterback you didn't want, wins the MVP, and the better question is really....what if, Phillip chokes a big game in the playoffs, will you wonder what would have happened if you kept Drew???

Not trying to change the subject, but you've go to wonder????

Go Chargers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Craig T 12-04-2006 02:50 PM

Hey Bob, always good to hear from you.... So the one thing I can agree upon is that if SD wins home field advantage, the tailgate parties, would be a blast. Maybe we should go there instead of Internext for our next gathering :)

I wonder what would have happened if SD kept Eli Manning.

Cory W 12-04-2006 02:56 PM

Rivers is not better than Brees.

Cory W 12-04-2006 02:58 PM

My god, look at the running game behind Rivers.

I could QB that team.

he would look better than he does in ny, because defense's have a few other studs to worry about on sd (but their record would be 5-9)....brees would still be tearing it up in n.o....... and rivers would better than average in ny, after a few years they would be in superbowl contention.....

I think we would be doing great with Brees aslso, I love that guy. Super cool, cool brees, but Rivers rocks also and will get better and better.

dooglas 12-04-2006 03:04 PM

Man the Bolts are looking good. I'm worried about my Colts. :(

Eli Manning is a boy among men...nothing like his brother. Rivers and Brees are both great QB's. Eli, what kind of name is that anyway.

Hey Cory,

I'm waiting for the virtual game where we could actually take a snap in the NFL without really ending up in the hospital.

I'll say this...The one advantage Rivers has over the other QB's is he doesn't have to line up against Shawne Merriman!!! That guy is a monster!!

WEG Cory...IVe met you and always thought you were a standup guy...but the closest NFL team to you..is the Chargers....why not cheer for them?...Its almost like you are stuck in the LA Raider mode from years ago...how could someone cheer for an a-hole owner like Al Davis...Go Bolts!

Go Raiders????? Yeah they are going NOWHERE Don't be a hater because the Raiders glory days are long gone...and a long ways away!

Brees was a great guy and a good Quarterback...The Chargers HAD to go with Rivers as Brees was an unknown quantity going into free agancy with a shoulder freshly operated on...remember his first years he wasn't all that good...I dare to say not as good as Rivers is as a first year starter.

I know Rex ... i have drank with Rex...Rex is a friend.... He is no moron!!

Eli whooooooooooooooooo?????????????????

Go Bolts!

We would have done great w/ Brees and I hope he continues to rip it up. Hats off to AJ Smith (GM) for making the tough decision to go w/ Rivers. The shoulder of Brees is what caused some concern and I applaud Smith for making the right decision. Rivers 2 yrs. learning was a blessing in disguise. I don't think he would've done nearly as well, if he was thrown into the fire as a rookie.

Furious_Male 12-04-2006 06:15 PM

I was at the game yesterday. They are fun to watch. I didn't need to see them beat my struggling Bills but cool regardless.

shekinah 12-04-2006 06:37 PM

go go go chargers:)

J. Falcon 12-04-2006 06:46 PM

You forget Marty is they're coach. Which means they will choke.

Hopefully he is due! :)

I am glad he has gotten away from "Marty Ball" for the most part and letting Rivers air it out.

Yeah Marty ball sucks. LT is looking like the greatest RB of all time right now.

bdld 12-04-2006 07:52 PM

after the broncos and chiefs lost this week, the chargers are easily gonna win their division. i want to see them get past the colts, i think they have the weapons to do that.

Vitasoy 12-04-2006 08:56 PM

LT has always be one of the top RB in the league.. this year he is a man poss-ed though

"I hate you guys, I hate you guys so very, very much" - Eric Cartman.

For me, take a moment to reflect how fucking GREAT it is that you can even have the conversation you're having. I'm in this 3rd world country and I haven't been able to watch the NFL for over a month. Monday night football comes on Tuesday morning here. There is no TIVO. Hell, I can't even get decent cable. The only US sport I can catch is basketball. Ugh. Basketball is so big here they have their own little Philippines National Basketball league. It's so much fun to watch a game like San Miguel Team (national beer company) playing FoodStuff Team (grocery store chain owned by San Miguel).

"Are you ready for some football?" Yes, I'm so ready. Getting more bandwidth on this shitty DSL line this week and going to have a bit torrent download-a-thon to catch all the games I've missed.

haha

Man, I am all Chiefs. I lived in KC from 89 - 98.

If / when my Chiefs get knocked out, I am all for the Chargers. I really want Marty to win, he deserves it.

And I have said all along that the Colts have nothing on the Chargers.

So in essence, I am cheering them on. But with my Chiefs still looming it is tough. I have a lot of memories of Arrowhead, one of them being when I was at the Monday Night Football game where Vanover returned a punt on SD and we won : ) : ) The place shook : )

foolio 12-04-2006 10:46 PM

Chargers choke every year, you can almost set your watch to it.
