Yes, I have put in 4 requests for something simple. Still hasn't been completed.

Fuck them.

CaptainHowdy 12-04-2006 06:01 PM

Jon Clark - BANNED FOR LIFE 12-04-2006 06:03 PM

marketsmart 12-04-2006 06:09 PM

cybermike 12-04-2006 06:16 PM

whats the best way to start transfering out of registerfly, I imagine it would be one at a time instead of a request for all of them correct?

Spudstr 12-04-2006 07:38 PM

i've had several domains down for 3 weeks now, ones about to come up on one month expired, besides lowing th edomain.. i don't even want to get into other losses i've had due to this domain being down :-/

maybe they are just trying to bank off peoples domains being 'expire' to their parked page..

LiveDose 12-04-2006 07:39 PM

Can't argue.

bdld 12-04-2006 07:45 PM

i'm transferring out a few dozen total, doing about 5 a week, havent had any problems yet.

Viper2K1 12-04-2006 07:59 PM

yea, had that twice
they took my money for the renewals, but the domains expired
their ticket-system is getting worse and worse each time i need it.

What I did, was waiting an hour or 2 before I got some guy in live support chat that helped me out and got things back ok.

interracialtoons 12-04-2006 08:14 PM

Wow! Thanks for the heads up. I won't be using them.

Lance69 12-04-2006 08:56 PM

How many Fuck Registerfly threads have we seen this year? Why do people still use them?

Agreed, they will go out of business. Surprised you lasted this long.

I've had domains with them since 99 and if you knew what was going on with them you'd know why people are pissed now. They were using third party registrars for years to register their domains, and are now internally transferring them within their system when you renew your domains. This has created an administrative nightmare and many renewal requests just simply aren't going through because there are problems with the transfer from the original registrar back to them. I've been in the process of transferring all of my domains over to other registrars such as namecheap and Enom.

Their ticket system sucks, get on the phone and call support and its been relatively easy for me to get things resolved quickly.

jbizzle 12-04-2006 09:56 PM

i agree, they suck! use namecheap,

emthree 12-04-2006 09:59 PM

Same here. Used them for the longest for hundreds of domains.
They suck ass now. :( Even double charged me a few times too.

maxarbo 12-04-2006 10:31 PM

They make it hard to transger a domain from them to a different registrar. They suck.

lopez 12-05-2006 12:34 AM

Unlock the domain before! u renew it, as lazycash says, they are now transfering the domains as they are a certified registrar, so... unlock when renewing solves alot of hassle. just my two cents.

who 12-05-2006 12:37 AM

Yeah they stole about $500 from me during that '.eu' mad rush. They never did remit the payment.

bdld 12-05-2006 02:14 AM

every couple of weeks they got .net domains for $2.99, but whats the point when they double-charge you. luckily they do refund me when they overcharge, but its still a hassle to get things sorted out.

DevilR07 12-05-2006 02:23 AM

no problem here.

warlock5 12-05-2006 02:28 AM

I've been having problems since around July. Its my fault for being a fucking retard and not transferring them all out already, but one of my good sites getting some kick ass christmas rankings expired and their parked page must be raking in more cash for them right now than I ever paid for domains.

Last few tickets I have submitted have gotten no replies, definately appears things are headed downhill fast.

After this is over Registerfly needs to change their name and them privately offer to pay 10 years of registrations for the domain portfolios of influential people like me.

Doctor Dre 12-05-2006 02:42 AM

Yeah they went from awesome to extra crappy in the last year

emthree 12-05-2006 02:03 PM

I think i'll slowly start transfering them out too.
Registerfly's bulk changes hardly ever work these days.

Violetta 12-05-2006 02:10 PM

they are fucking braindead and clueless...
